Flipping sentence elements

Hi,

For literary purpose can I flip the elements of a sentence from "the formal" Subject-Predicate-Object into O-P-S?

Example:
  • Our late father's stuffs are laid bare before all of us. (formal)
  • Laid bare before all of us, are our late father's stuffs.
Thanks in advance, AL

Yes, you can do that. But remove the comma. stuff is uncountable, so don't say 'stuffs'.

I use a comma so readers will not mistakenly interpret the object of the sentence as the subject.

It's not required.
