Flip it neatly away

Hello,

The crabs decide to bury rather suddenly. They do so backward, forcing their abdomens into the bottom with quick snapping motions. Simultaneously they pick and claw at the mud or sand with their hind walking legs and flip it neatly away with the paddles of their swimming legs.
