Flash on someone
Hi
Forgive me please if I have asked this question before -- but I understand that the dictionaries are misleading on this, as I remember being told that native speakers don't use flash on this way.
And it flashed on me (suddenly I realized) that I had forgotten to bring the card.
Please let me know.
