flame

Hi!

Can you help me and check the underlined parts?Thank you in advance.

Oil is highly flamable so the use of opened flame at the drilling set is forbidden. In the opened space/outdoors there is a slight danger of oil poisoning, however, assistent workers/unskilled attendants who clean the cisterns have to work under masks, because there is a possibility of toxic influence/effect of easily evaporating compounds, which are constituent parts of raw oil.

Thank you both.

I see your point Philip, actually I found that word in the dictionary. I wasn't sure if it is actually used. Somebody might find it offensive.

I think something is missing. The danger in the open air is ONLY slight. You seem to want to minimize this, but if you say there's a slight risk, I would expect you to tell me how to address even this slight risk. Perhaps you mean "little risk" which emphasizes the "not very much at all" - but "slight risk" is still a risk. If my understanding of what you want to say is correct, you may want a "ho

I personally don't see anything offensive in using skilled and unskilled. Some of the plant operators will have received lengthy periods of training and experience on the operation of the various processes whereas the workers who do this kind of cleaning of the tanks will have received little training other than basic safety precautions about working in this environment.

My suggestion:

Grammar Geek, you are right about however. The author didn't put it like this, although she perhaps should have because it would make more sense.
