Flags of our fathers directed by Eastwood

0My appetite is stirred by the fine words of some critics. Generally speaking, this movie is great. The story is about the war. The director focuses on six men who raised the victory flag in the battlefild of a cruel war against Japanese during the WW II. The battle photographer took the scene when the victory flag is set up after the furious bomb and fire with the indefinite deaths. When the Jepanese are beaten and the soldiers back to their home country. It is obvious that the people who appear in the aspiring victory pictures will be honored. They are immersed by the great deal of respects, honors and glories. They are supposed to be happy. However, more honor come upon them, more anguish torture them. Why? they can't forget the brothers and comrades who dead in the battlefield. They can't efface the memories that numerous vivid lives disppear in a second. They can't forget the hopeless eyes of their comrades. Are their the genuine men who raise the flag? Do they deserve the honors? They ask themselvies for many times? However, they are unable to accept the honors and glories peacely. At this point, I like director Eastwood's way of telling the story. The scenes changed between the bloodless battlefield and the honored speech. The director is apt to put the roles in to the shark collision. The comparison between the cruelty and the honors deeply depicts the disgust towards the war.02br

00Meanwhile, too much swift between the old scenes and the current ones make audiences confused, which make us forget the roles and the plot.0-
