Hi

Are these sentences correct:

1. Which of these words fit(s)to this rule? Fit or Fits?

2. It was the first time she saw you in action. MAYBE: ....she had seen you in action.

So it should be: Which of these words fits this rule???

I thought that when you say: It was the first time.... then you have to use "the past perfect tense" and when you say:

I guess I was too tired. I was assuming "Which (one) of these (two) words fits the rule?" But it just as well could have been, "Which (ones) of these (several) words fit the rule?"

When was the first time she kissed you? When was the first time she had kissed you?

Was that the first time she kissed you? Was that the first time she had kissed you?
