first/ly, second/ly....

Hi

Which of these do you use more often in a conversation:

First/ly I ......

Second/ly I ...........

Third/ly I ............

Fourth/ly I..................

Fifth/ly I ...............

and so on......

Maybe it's just better to say: First I ......, and then ......., and then ........ (instead of using secondly or tenthly?)
