First store to open

Let's say XY company has opened a store in Japan and is going to open another store in Singapore.

Can we say that "Japan's is the first store to open" and "Singapore's is the second store to open"?

Thank you.

Let's say XY company has opened a store in Japan and is going to open another store in Singapore.

In that case, these are more usual: "Japan's was the first store to open" and "Singapore's will be the second store to open."
