First of all

1. "First of all, I am not a lawyer"
Can we follow it up with "Second of all ...." ?
If not, how should we continue the listing ?

2. Why do you despise me ?
Well, for one thing, you are a liar.
For another, you are selfish.
For another, you owe me money.

Can the listing go on like this with "For another" as preface ?

  • You could use "For another" instead of "Then," but this is rather formal and stuffy-sounding.

1. I've never heard the phrase "second of all." You'd follow the first sentence with "Second, I...", "Third, I...", etc.

2. You'd usually follow the first sentence with "Then, you...", "Then, you...", etc. You could use "For another" instead of "Then," but this is rather formal and stuffy-sounding.

The next one is third or thirdly (especially in British English), but these are less common.
