First intership cover letter ever pls help

hi this is my first time writing a cover letter, i really dont have much to write and i dont know if it sounds ok pls help me correct it thx

I am interested in applying for internship in your company that was listed in Jobstreet.com. I am currently purusing my degree in international business and marketing at Monash University. apart from marketing and International Business managments, iI have studied basics of accounting, communication, and statistics as well.

I also had actively taken part in various student body comitee during my course of studies. I also have done a part time job last summer in Sunway Lagoon. for further information, my resume enlist my experience and also i have attached copies of my certificates.

I believe that I would an asset to your program. I am seeking to learn about various parts of organisations by working with your company. This internship would provide me with the ideal opportunity to assist at your organization as well as to expand my working skills. as you might notice that I am an international student. However, Monash Univesity has give assurance to its international student to be able to apply for intenship as it is legally allowed.
