First in/for ~years?

Let's say that a woman was the president 30 years ago and all later presidents were men until a new female president was elected.

Is it correct to say "She is the first female president in 30 years."?
How about "She is the first female president for 30 years."?

If these are not good, are there better alternatives that mean the same?

Thanks.
