FIRST FLOOR

People refer to the floors of a building as "the first floor", "the second floor", etc, with "the" before the phrase "X floor" since each floor is unique. Suppose I refer to multiple floors. Then:

".....the first, second, and third floors...."

".............first, second, and third floors...."

Would i get away with dropping "the"?

MeggPhaggSioux ".. " Would i get away with dropping "the"? You can drop all but the first "the", as in your first example, but you can't get away with dropping all of them, and you can't get away with using i instead of I either.
