Finite into non-finite

How to make these sentences non-finite?

1. He didn't accept the offer he had been given.
2. When you are in Greece do as the Greeks do.
3. John remembered the time when he was younger.

Thanks for any help.

Morrru How to make these sentences non-finite? There is no such thing as a non-finite sentence, so if you change those so they have non-finite verb forms, you won't have sentences anymore. Are you sure you understood the instructions you were given about these sentences?

It is just barely possible, but almost no one would use that because we have the word 'remembrance' for that context:

John's remembrance of being younger

Sorry, I meant clauses.

1. He didn't accept the offer he had been given.
2. When you are in Greece do as the Greeks do.
3. John remembered the time when he was younger.

1. He didn't accept the offer given to him. (You can use the past participle here.)
2. Being in Greece, do as the Greeks do. (Same as you had.)
3. (Yours is OK, but I think they should have underlined "the time" as well so you could write:
John remembered being young.
That's all you really need.)
