Finishing touches and in detail

Could a native speaker please help me correct this? Its unnatural to use "finishing touches" and "in detail"?

- He started shaving with a blunt rasor and when there was almost nothing left, he took a new one the finishing touches.

- I used scissors to cut off most of my beard and went back with a razor finishing touches.

- He does the scetches and I go back in detail and do the coloring.

- I did all the house work today. He did the thing that you see at first sight and I went back in detail and the finishing touches.
