Finishing a letter

When using kind regards at the end of a letter, would you put Yours sincerely, as well?

No, "Dear sir" ends with "Yours faithfully" and "Dear Mr Smith" ends with "Yours sincerely".

Both are for formal business letters. (A good trick to remember them is that the two S's - "sir" and "sincerely" - don't go together.)

The informal "Kind regards" would be inappropriate in such a formal letter.
