Finish/graduate school?

I finished school/college/university.

I graduated from school/college/university.

Can we use all of them?

Top answer

Yes, but 'finish' is a little less clear. eg Maybe you did all the university courses for 4 years but you failed the final exams. You can say that you finished, but you can't say that you graduated.

You can, depending on context. Different words are used in different parts of the world, such as leaving school.
