Finished/done

Could you tell me which one is right between 'finished' and 'done' in the following sentence? Does #2 mean the same as #1? Thank you in advance.


1. Are you [finished/done] with your coffee?

Both are correct, but use 'finished'. It's a higher register word.

Also good: Have you finished your coffee?

This is also grammatically correct.
