Finished/Done?

Finished/Done with the dinner, they leave the dining table.

Are both options okay to use? And is the sentence otherwise correct grammatically?

"done" is in a rather low register, so it doesn't fit well with the use of that introductory participle clause, which is in a higher register, so while both are grammatically correct, I recommend using only "finished".
