I think its origin sentence is like this. "At the marketing seminar (where they were) conforming the presentations of the various new products were similar to a standard format."
So, I think the subject of the verb " conforming" is " the marketing seminar", exactly it's "seminar", not "presentations" Am I wrong ? Meanwhile, Someone continues to insist its subject is "the presentations", not "seminar". Who is right ?
