Finding her a devoted wife and mother?

Please look at these sentences.

[1]I found that she is a devoted wife and mother.
[2]I found her to be a devoted wife and mother
[3]I found her a devoted wife and mother. (?)

Can't I express it like [3] ? Is the[3] a wrong sentence? Do I have to say as "I found her as a devoted wife and mother"?

Thank you for your answer in advance.
