Find out what other industries our customers are entering

Hi, everyone!

I need you help! I'm currently writing an article, but haven't been able to get past a point because there is a particular idea that I don't know to say. All I have come up with is "we want to find out what other industries our customers are entering/making inroads into.

What I want to say is that we want to find out what industries other than their core industry they are making inroads into.

Excuse me if I didn't make myself clear enough. In case that you don't understand something I said, please let me know and I'll try to clear it up!

Thanks for your help.
