Find out the odd word(verb,noun,adverb,adjective)

Hi this is Sandya...
I feel difficult to find out the odd word in my exam.please help me.

questions will be like this.

I searched in internet i din't get any Trick or simplest way to Identify
(verb,noun,adverb,adjective).

Somebody told me if it is suffix its a noun.
Like that coud you give me any trick to identify.

I feel difficult to find because while asking question they are giving single words ,not compelte sentence.

help me to clear my exams

The dictionary ( http://www.onelook.com/?w=simple&ls=a ) will tell you which part of speech (verb, noun, etc) each word can be, Sandya. Just see which one is listed differently.

First of all, you should know an exact meaning of each. If they are all the same part of speech, you should translate them to see whether or not they refer to the same thing or are cognate. Give it a try, post your answers here and we will help you figure out in case you have further doubts.

The first and the third are fine. Obay is an unknown creature to me. The second seems out of place since:
local - adjective
yet-adverb
to resolve - verb. Have you mixed something?
