find a verb for me please

The tyranny will eventually be by the trend of history.

I came up with some choices like abolish demolish overthrow desert. But the above sentence seems to call for a verb more rhetorical.

Hope someone can help.

what if i change "by" into "in".

Unfortunately "in" wouldn't work either. I'm inclined to agree with Goldmund: a "trend" can't be said to have an effect on one of the events that establishes that trend.
