Financial Aid Appeal Letter, suspended for exceeding maximum timeframe

Dear Finacial Aid Committee,

My name is xx, school id # XXXXXXXX, I am writing to you today because I have recieved notification from your office indicating my financial aid has been suspended, because I exceeded the maximum timeframe. I am a mother who has returned to school after 30 years, honestly in the beginning it was a struggle, so I took classes that would help and prepare me for the level that I needed to be. I unfortunately failed math, I went to the tudoring center and recieved help for math, I retook the class and I passed it. Due to me taking those classes I have exceeded the maximum timeframe. I graduated this May, but now I want to complete both my lower division requierment for my major in Socialology and my general eduacation to transfer to Channel Islands University. Please reconsider your decision, I am working hard and I will be going to the tudoring center to get all the help I can get to achieve my academic goal.

I thank you for taking the time to consider my appeal,

Sincerely

xx
