I'm trying to write a Financial aid appeal for my school and was wondering if this letter seems okay
thanks
Financial Aid Appeal Committee, I am writing this letter to ask the financial aid committee not terminate my financial aid for the 2008-2009 year. I have worked very hard in my studies and performed to the best of my abilities but was not able to meet satisfactory academic progress. During the 2007- 2008 school year I have experience many changes. One difficulty I experience was my living arrangement. I lived in a apartment with two other people that I was not very compatible with. Our living arrangement had cause a lot of stress and made it tough for me to study and focus in class. I have a problem with fatigue. In the past I had have a mild case of iron deficiency anemia. Even though I’m currently taking iron supplement pills to treat it my living situation has taken its toll on me. Even though there are many facilities on campus I can go to study when I went back to my dorm I do not have a place to relax and I have problems sleeping. I have realized that this is a problem for me so for the upcoming school year I have decided to live off campus and stay at home and commute to school. I feel like I would have the type of environment I need to focus on my studies better than I have. Financial Aid has helped me pay for college tremendously and without it, it would make my situation extremely difficult. I am convinced that with the help of this committee I will be able to finish my college education. I want to express my sincere appreciation for giving me the opportunity to explain my circumstances. I am looking forward to hear good new from you.
Sincerely,
