Finally be

Hi,

"She seems to be finally opening up to us."

"She seems to finally be opening up to us."

Are both possible or only the second one?

Thank you.

Ann225"She seems to finally be opening up to us."

This one is fine, but some people still don't like splitting an infinitive, so this is best avoided in formal writing if you can help it. The most natura
