Final paper - Question

I'm a Dutch student. For my final paper, I am translating an English juvenile book into Dutch. Next to this, I am writing a theoretical part on the language youngsters use.

In Dutch, there is one term which reflects the whole concept of "the language youngsters use". I was wondering if there is a collective term for "the language youngsters use" in English. Now, when I Google for "the language used by youngsters", not much information is shown. I will be so grateful if you could help me. Thank you.

Not to my knowledge. Baby talk is for very small children. Youth slang , perhaps, or youth argot -- these are not idiomatic of course, just my own suggestions.
