Hallo,

I would like to ask you the following question. When you shoot a movie, there is usually a person who holds a clapperboard. What word/words does he or she say when clapping the board before every new scene? Thank you so much for your answer and wish you beatiful autumn days.

The person holding the "sticks" usually doesn't say anything, maybe "mark" or "mark 1, mark 2" (if there are multiple cameras. The sound technician will say "scene #, take #" into the recorder. )

The sound technician will say "scene #, take #" into the recorder. (In movies, though, they portray the guy holding the sticks as saying that.)
