Film Industry

Well, nowadays, it is clear that the film industry has changed, mainly because of the new technologies such as web 2.0 and you tube culture. The advances in technology will be changing the way the movie industry does business. Today, movie consumers are looking for more convenient ways of viewing films without seating in a movie theatre. They are also seeking better quality and sharper images, so to stay competitive and reduce the challenges associated with technological developments; the industry must identify best practices and apply those practices to problems the organizations might face like piracy. The possibility of making their own movies has become part of the lifestyle of many people. (When the film is bad, a good video really comes into its own.

I like to see European films because they show a different view of the world. They are seen as a piece of art instead of being a simple blockbuster. I dislike horror movies, it doesn´t add any improvement in our lives.

I do think that some films can have a positive and negative influence on young people´s behavior. A good example of that is the blockbuster “fight club”; in this movie violence has a huge impact on the audience. In Brazil a medicine student committed a homicide, killing many spectators at the moment they were watching.

Well, depends. If it is proved that some film has a bad influence on children, teenager or adult behavior, I believe that is perfectly possible to censor it. However, some countries do not attend to this fact and allow people to see censored movies. Is possible to censor, because depending on the movie, such scenes might content explicit content or a not recommended behaviour from the characters. However, some eastern countries are radically censoring some films that actually do not cause any harm to the population.
