filled in the form/filled the form

I flled in the form wrong. - is it ok?
or, maybe, I must use "filled the form"?
is it correct - use "wrong"?

Of course wrongly is a word, the issue is rather where in the sentence to put it :-) Incidentally, fill in, fill out, all the same to my (British English) ears.
