Figures of speech

Hi guys, I'm to identify some figures of speech and I'm stuck with a few and I'm not clear if I'm right with some, I'm wondering if anyone can help. Here the ones I'm learning are:

a. simile
b. metaphor
c. Onomatopoiea
d. personification
e. alliteration
f. hyperbole
g. euphemism
h. oxymoron
i. assonance

I've asterixed the ones I think is correct

1. it was loud as an engine in the room --- *???
2. the bellows moaning in the wind --- *???
3. Alice (human) stroked her forehead with her tiny paws --- *???
4. Its voice boomed across the room --- *???
5. The noise was hair curling --- *???
6. "Please talk freely" ---"???
7. The weeping wolf ---*alliteration
8. see them off --- *???
9. dead but alive ---*oxymoron
10. a thousand miles ---*hyperbole (I think this is correct because it is an exaggeration to ask a rabbit to run that distance in the jungle)

11. sleeping forest --- *personification

Thanks for the reply!

Let's try again...

I think 1 should be a simile.

I think 2 should be personification.

I think 3 should be hyperbole.

Not sure but I think 4 and 5 should be onomatopoiea.

Number 6 is personification?

I don't know what is 8.

Mister MicawberOK, but I see no rabbit in what you have given us.
Cheshire Cat: Oh, by the way, if you'd really like to know, he went that way.
Alice: Who did?
Cheshire Cat: The White Rabbit.
Alice: He did?

Thank you Mister Micawber for the clarification!

For 6 which you say is assonance, now I can see why because of the long e sound but tricky to pick up if because of that

The sentence for #8 is as follows ...

"May I use your gun?" asked Alex."I'd like to see them off with my bullets."
