Figure out

Hi, there. Could anyone please tell me if "figure out" seems completely natural here or I should change it?

You say you're doing better, but I don't know what to believe. You're not really telling me anything. And I can't figure you out. I can't even figure out whether you actually appreciate that I keep coming by to check in on you or if you just find it annoying.
