Hi, Because with Present Perfect, you need have + past participle . 'Figured' is the past participle. This is why you say I have cooked dinner and not I have cook dinner.

Hi,

Because with Present Perfect, you need have + past participle.

'Figured' is the past participle.

This is why you say

I have cooked dinner

and not

I have cook dinner.
