Few questions (mainly about article)

"Leaving there and proceeding for three days towards the east, you reach Diomira, a city with sixty silver domes, bronze statues of all the gods, streets paved with lead, a crystal theater, a golden cock that crows each morning on a tower. All these beauties will already be familiar to the visitor, who has seen them also in other cities."

*This text is quoted from Italo Calvino's invisible cities http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Invisible_Cities

1)I interpreted you in "you reac Diomira" as generic you. Is my interpretation on the right track?

2)I tend to think "the city with sixty..." is more proper than a city with sixty..." is. Is the use of a definite article in the sentence wrong?

3)Not "the crystal theater" but "a crystal theater". Does the use of an indefinite article imply the posibility that there's more than one crystal theater in Diomira?

4)Not "a visitor" but "the visitor". Why is that?

Thanks in advance Emotion: smile
