Few questions

Please help me with these questions. Tell me which is right:

1.) I'm loving chatting with you.

2.) I was calling u but your phone is off.

3.) Lucy and I have influence on the police.
Lucy annd have an influence on the police.
Lucy and I have influences on the police.

4.) What moments were your favorites?
What moments were your favorite?

5.)I think they'll make a good choice on who should play that character,
I think they'll make a good choice on whomever/whoever should play that character.

6.) The circle making thing. I mean/meant a compass.

7.) After this break we're having, it should be worth the wait. - Does it mean we will have the break or it's happening right now?

Anonymous I'm loving chatting with you. From a grammatical perspective, it's not wrong. BUt idiomatically, it doesn't sound right.

  • Words like "like","Love", and "hate" etc are rarely used in present progressive construction, except in special context where you want to accentuate the point.
