Can I say,






(a) He gave the plants some fertilizer.

(b) He gave some fertilizer at / to the plants.

(c) She put some fertilizer so that the plant will grow healthily. She looked after the precious plant carefully.

(d) She spread / sprinkle / sprayed the fertilizer on / onto the plan to make it grow quickly / faster.
