female ring OR female one

I'm at a jewelry store shopping for my friend. I see a nice couple's ring and I ask the clerk how much is the female. I say:

How much is the female one?

OR

How much is the female ring?

Are both OK?

Yes, but they're different prices so I wanted to know how much was the female one.

That's if you can say female one.

Well, I certainly wouldn't. I'd say 'the girl's ring'.
