Felony charges

Four days into Donald Trump Presidency, 6 reporters already face felony charges for covering protests

I read the above headline in the Times of India.
I looked up the meaning and parts of speech in the various dictionaries. I thought that "felony" describes the charges as it answers the question-'what type or which one" but it's listed as noun. Could someone help me to decide the parts of speech in the given context without consulting a dictionar?
