Fell and have cut

I fell and have cut my leg while I was cycling two years ago.

Why the second verb is in Present Perfect? Can I use here for example Past simple?

Thanks in advance!

Cut is the wrong verb here, and the tense is wrong, too. Say: I fell and broke my leg while cycling two years ago. CB

Thanks, but this is from a key to a student book of English.

I think you can cut your leg but why they useed Present Perfect?

The tense is incorrect. (even iif it was in a book!) It should be "I fell and cut my leg . . . "

CB, I don't see any reason to assume that the speaker broke his leg. It's certainly possibly to fall off a bicycle and cut your leg.

It's cut, not have cut. You can't have a present perfect with a mention of a specific time (two years ago) no matter what your book says.
