feeling to do something?

Hi! everyone.
Could you tell me whether the sentence below is correct?
It's a horrible feeling to lose like that.
Is "losing a game like that" a feeling?
And what purpose does the colored "to" serve in the sentence? Does it mean "after" as in "after losing like that"?
Thanks!

  • Yes.

  • I don't know whether you got something mixed up or intentionally changed the wording, but anyway, "to lose like that" and "losing a game like that" are not strictly speaking feelings, but the association with a feeling is close enough for the sentence to work, certainly in everyday English.
