feeling

The visual image and the feeling from the last part of book is still with me. It is so horrid that I could not get rid of.

Are they correct?

Thank you

I think "imagery" might be a better choice. Because you have the image/imagery and the feeling, you should have a plural verb - they ARE still with you.
