Feel relieved

Which of the following sentence is acceptable?

(1) I think it a great relief to solve the problem.

(2) I feel relieved to solve the problem.

Neither is quite right. If it's a problem you have already solved, then it's in the past so the past tense should be used. So this is the correct way to express it....

If the problem has not been solved, and it is to be solved in the future. Can the future tense be used as written ?

I think it will be a great relief to solve the problem.
