Hello.

Would you judge whether the following sentences are correct or not?

a. He felt Mary hit him with a stone.

b. Mary was felt to hit him with a stone.

c. Who did he feel hit him with a stone?

None of them sound reasonable to me, probably because of the context choice. These would be better examples: a1. He felt Mary kissing the back of his neck.

None of them sound reasonable to me, probably because of the context choice. These would be better examples:

a1. He felt Mary kissing the back of his neck.

c1. Who did he feel kissing the back of his neck?

The passive voice does not work (or only rarely works) with verbs of sensation.
