Grammar

Feel

Hello,

1.He was feeling bad.

I was reading an English grammar book and it says that the perception verbs like feel, see, think cannot be used in a progressive form.

But I found the above sentence in a dictionary using progressive form of the "feel".

Could any one here explain the above concept?

Thanks.

Hello,

Thanks.

So when shall I use the progressive form and when not.

Could you explain with examples of these?

Thanks.
