Can I say,

(a) The mother bird is feeding the worm.

(b) The mother bird is feeding the worm to / for its young (bird).

(c) The father bird is feeding the young bird a worm.

(b) The mother bird is feeding the worm to / for its young (bird).

(c) The father bird is feeding the young bird a worm. OK
