Feedback cover letter
Hello, I would really appreciate it to get some feedback on my cover letter:
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express my interest in the international internship program at XXX. As part of my studies I am looking for a six-month internship starting in August 2016. Through a fellow student who completed an internship at your company I became aware of the opportunities you are offering to international students. My particular interests are project management and lean management. Nevertheless I am open to other opportunities.
Currently studying XXX at the XXX, I am equipped with excellent knowledge about business processes. Combined with an analytical and extremely disciplined mindset I would be a valuable asset supporting your team. As a temporary employee in a mid-sized company, I am primarily responsible for client relationship. Through this task I developed superb interpersonal communication and coordination skills.
These skills are topped off with the ability to communicate fluently in German and English. I also possess skills in further languages like Spanish or French. Currently I don’t own a J-1 visa, but I can guarantee that I fulfill all criteria to receive one. From an internship in such a highly esteemed company like yours I deeply hope to gain some more practical experience and insights into the application of project management.
