Hi everyone,

I was wondering if there's any nuances between "feared" and frightening.

The more you avoid a "feared "social situation, the more frightening it becomes.

The difference is slight. I might fear a situation because I don't know for sure what it will be. Once I get there, it may or may not be frightening. I hope this helps.
