FCE / Upper-int book

Hi

I am going to start english courses soon. I will be in the FCE class but I will not pass the exam. As the teacher said to me that FCE course is a bit higher than Upper intermediaire course.

FCE class will work on : FC Masterclass Oxford book
Upper intermediate class will work on : Cutting Edge upper-int 3th edition

I am still hesitating. Which book has the higher level?
I would like to improve my level as much as possible (vocabulary, speaking,...).

Thank you for your help

Personally I believe learning slowly and accurately would work better. Do not rush to pass higher courses. This is not good when only the name of your courses changes from Inter to Upper and then Advanced but your accuracy and fluency show that you're a false learner ( whose level is different from the level of the class and the book, usually lower).

  • I have passed FCE.
