fax question

Please advisee me,

When you are sending a fax, suppose the other end's fax machine is busy receiving another fax, and your fax is put on the wait for it's turn.

What do usually say?
Say somewhat like "It's on reserve." or "It's on standby." or "It's on hold."?

Please advise me with what you would say.

Thank you.

Grammar GeekI think I'd say something like "The receiving fax machine is busy, so our should be in the queue to print."
I was surprised to see the word "queue" used by a Yank. Is this the international, tech term?

I don't wait in the queue myself at, say, the movie theater, but I definitely use it for things like "print queue" for electronic things.
