fate in your hands

Are these things you would say in English? Are they natural?

The team's fate is no longer in its hands.
The teams fate is still in its hands.

The team's fate is no longer in his/her hands. There is nothing wrong with "its" but I have trouble imaging a neuter antecedent. The weather has no hands, for instance.

There is nothing wrong with "its" but I have trouble imaging a neuter antecedent. The weather has no hands, for instance.
